Our beers / Sklář 8°

The 8% malt extract Sklář is a lovingly brewed single-mash beer, the kind that was historically drunk in the region and would have been found in all of the sweltering local glassworks. When creating the recipe, we placed emphasis on its lightness. Primarily intended to quench thirst, the lightness of the beer is also due to its duller colour and corresponding bitterness. We solely brew it with Moravian malt and granulated hops from Žatec, which add to the beer’s lightness. Like our other beers, we prepare Sklář to the right degree in our boiler.
